My research interests span four themes: (a) the application of machine learning for the synthesis and understanding of art and culture; (b) the modelling of environmental factors for sustainability of key resources necessarily for life; (c) diagnosing academic and social issues in order to promote student success; and (d) the probabilistic modelling and learning of influence between processes for knowledge discovery and density estimation.
